Good hotel with its heated swimming pool, friendly staff, and great dining options. They also helped me find local delivery on my first stay. I always look forward to returning for a holiday.

Breakfast was hearty, I liked almost everything.

1st class hotel with very efficient staff at check-out, everything was really good. I asked for standard queen room, it was romantic and pet-friendly.

The hotel was brilliant and clean with beautiful views over the lake. The room was very lovely, exceptionally comfortable bed. They had an early check-in. It had a lakeside restaurant for dinner.

The staff - some of them were very rude.

It was a very well decorated and well-maintained hotel in a relaxing area, short walk to Keswick and surrounding area, and the Lake View restaurants.

It's beautiful location is the hotel's strength, but I liked the recent refurbishment of the rooms, and the relaxed but attentive service.

Good service and good facilities in a beautiful setting

The waiter service in the reaturant was a little annoying in so much as we where interupted a number of times by different waiters asking the same questions ie have you ordered yet. This happend each time we used it. I would have expected each table to be allocated one waiter at a time as is normally the case.

Try to reserve a spot at the Mizu restaurant early, as it books quickly and offers exceptional Asian dishes that enhance your stay.

We have stayed several times over the last 10 years and the hotel seems to have improved in standards from when it was the Stakis Ladore, the location is remote (in a quiet/relaxing way), and is blessed with stunning views.

Only small gripes, we had 2 young children, 7 & 4, and we would have liked a childs menu during the dinner times of 7pm to say 7.30pm, as the earlier times were no good for us, as we were out enjoying the lovely weather!, also, our bathroom door was fitted with a rather brutal self-closing device that injured our childrens feet & my side.

    amazing views
    luxurious spa
    chaotic dining
    slow service
    staffing issues

Fine views and a luxurious spa experience set the tone for an enjoyable stay. The infinity pool offered amazing lake views. The dining experience was inconsistent, with the Pan Asian restaurant failing to impress while breakfast was chaotic and service painfully slow. Staffing issues seemed evident, as some staff appeared overwhelmed, which affected the overall atmosphere.
